08/09 League

The first season of the London Bike Polo League attracted 12 teams: B.A.D. Polo, JiHaD, Los Coños, Malice International, Malletov Cocktail, No Sympathy, The Black Rebel Bicycle Polo Club, The De Beauvoir Townies, The Moving Targets, The Sick Buckets, The Sitting Ducks, and Zombie RMY.

Overall it was a success with games played in rain, sun, snow, sleet, and one game on ice.

The final standings were:

First: BAD Polo (31)

Second: Malice International (26)

Third: Zombie RMY (22)*

* tied with Malletov Cocktail on points, but won on goal difference.

The results for the season one awards (as voted for by the players) were:

Most Improved Player:

Best Game:

1. BAD v Malice International
2. NS v Zombie

Best Ref:

Best Supporters:
