Rotten Apples vs Massive Cogs
A rough introduction to the league for Massive Cogs. Rotten Apples, in their usual unpredictable controlled chaos, made life difficult for the new league team. Massive Cogs found it hard to keep control of the ball, or even get into the Apple’s D. Although they had a few great rushes on goal, RA were usually able to catch up and cut them out. Massive Cog’s one goal came from RA leaving the goal untended. Final scores were 5-0, 5-1, 5-0.
Polo Fiasco vs Massive Cogs
Massive Cogs continued their lessons in the next fixture, against Polo Fiasco. Although the games were closer (5-2, 5-1, 5-2), the crowd was louder, and the opposition’s average age much lower, MC’s couldn’t pull it together. Their lack of team time on the court showed, but they gave it their all. PF were passing well and able to get the ball off the MCs before they were able to get it up to the goal most of the time. However, MCs got a few great shots off, resulting in some good goals. Most of the goals scored went to Tony and Josh, with Adrienne scoring two goals both times she came out of goal.
